The Tumor Stroma Interactions research group is a dynamic and multinational team studying the mechanisms leading to leukemia progression with the goal to identify new prognostic markers and therapeutic targets.
We characterised in depth the composition of immune cells populating the CLL microenvironment using mass cytometry and successfully tested dual immune checkpoint inhibition that efficiently blocks leukemia progression.
